The ‘#OurElectricPalace Appeal’ will begin with two special screenings on Sunday 11th and Monday 12th August.


Join us on Sunday 11th August, when we have a UK exclusive first screening of the first two episodes of AMC limited-series Monsieur Spade, starring the cinema’s patron Clive Owen in the titular role of Sam Spade.


Owen will be with us on the evening to help launch the new fundraising appeal as well as taking part in a post-screening Q&A.

Join us on Monday 12th August, when cinema patron Clive Owen will be on hand to introduce a screening of the film Closer, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.


Owen won a Golden Globe and a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Larry in the movie, as well as receiving an Oscar nomination.
